I have always been passionate about creating. In my spare time I would refinish pieces add them to my homes décor. Suddenly my entire house was filled with my Transformations. Our visitors would always exclaim – you should open a store, you are truly talented. I started small - selling items on Facebook and came up with a name, Tona Transformations.
Then one day it hit me like a ton of bricks, could I seriously make a living at this – could I quit my 30year career in insurance sales to turn my hobby into my business? I discussed my plan with my husband, quit my job and two months later the retail location for Tona Transformations was opened.
The thrill for me is taking a discarded piece of furniture and transforming them into a piece of art, something you can be proud of to display in your home. I truly love the entire process, from the dusty process of sanding, to the final outcome of the finished piece. I pour my entire heart and soul into each piece to create a unique piece of art.
